I am British by birth, but European by nature. I grew up on the island of Crete, where I worked in the tourism trade until I met my French husband who at the time lived in Aix en Provence and WOW’ d me with the beauty of that town. I have been in the Provence now for almost 20 years, and am constantly discovering it’s natural wonders and the culinary delights that pop up out of the ground. Both of our children were born here and so this is home....as home is where the heart is.

I have worked as a local host for more than 15 years; it is a profession that requires, patience and willingness and a good sense of humor...

As a VillaHost with A Season Away I love to share with guests my local knowledge, my collected funny stories that I have gathered over the years and my secret byways, whether hiking through the countryside or driving along the tiny roads.

Food and wine are my passion. I spend a great deal of time searching out new talent for the benefit of A Season Away guests (and myself, of course!): from the young farmer who grows the sweetest, firmest strawberries to the hidden vineyard where EXCELLENT wine is produced without a single trace of sulphites to the chef who’s crème brulée à le Lavande is to die for!
