VillaHost

Before our guests arrive, the VillaHosts get to know them and are able to present them with wonderful experiences based on what interests them. We want to make our guests feel like they are part of the fabric of our communities rather than tourists just peeking in for a moment. Their experiences are real, genuine to the culture and personally meaningful.

“It seems like everyone has been to Paris and knows it well!

When you come to Paris with A Season Away, not only do I take the worry out of arrival by doing a pre-shop for your apartment and am there to meet you on arrival, but I can give you my own interpretation of not-to-miss, “secret” haunts of Paris that will give you a different flavor than those found in guidebooks.

As a VillaHost, my role is to help you get what you want out of a city of 11 million people! That could be in the areas of art, shopping, dining, historical and more. As a Paris native, I have many friends in different fields, thought I don’t give away by secrets easily!

I also like challenges! Recently an Australian couple was coming with their daughter, who had some severe food allergies and asked me to find them a gluten-free, lactose-free birthday cake for the daughter.

To know France is to know the country has a love affair with butter, cream and cheese. So yes, I was laughed out of a number of bakeries when I asked for a lactose-free cake! But I did find a baker who could make such a cake and the guests were so appreciative of both the effort and the results, that it truly made my day!”
